Although given to me a few years after my walk in the woods at Ashburnham they bear a strong and clear resemblance to the words that the Holy Spirit shared with me on that special day when hope broke through like a shaft of light into my despair.
Oh my God, you are so faithful to me, when I thought it was all over, you create new life out of death and destruction. All my hope is in you, all my hope is in you, all the glory to you God, Light of the world.
First dream scene:
Two people walking through a wood after a winter storm - a route they often took, in surroundings they knew well. They were shocked to see that a tree had been hit by lightening that had burnt out it's core. It was a well established tree and they were sad to see the damage that had been caused. They assume it would die and be blown down before Spring.
Second dream scene:
A warm sunny afternoon next to a lake - the same tree had somehow become an impressive Weeping Willow that people were drawn to. The walkers couldn't believe that the tree had survived and had changed into something even more impressive than before.
A recent picture whilst praying for your role as Worship and Creative Arts Director at Kings.
The Weeping Willow had diamond and silver leaves that made an attractive sound in the breeze and attracted passers-by. There were many people under the tree - all worshipping, arms raised. It was as though the branches were a kind of canopy through which they could worship. I then saw a cloud descend on the tree and, as it did, so liquid condensed on the silvery leaves to form honey dew that fell on those worshipping beneath.
